[dollie] needle and thread

It's a good thing when you launch a commercial website and get your first order within an hour of opening your virtual doors. It's also good when you have to close ordering about 12 hours after opening it because you've filled your quota for the immediate future. My new hobby business is a success, so far. And so far, I'm having a good time doing the actual sewing, too. Some full outfit orders, one pretty cool custom design order. I am happy.

Also, my long-awaited Pocket Fairy ball jointed doll is on her way. My friend and I ordered from Minoru World and they were hella fast - payment to box on my friend's doorstep was three days. I would certainly order from them again. Great service, and you can pay with Paypal. What more could you want? In retrospect, although doing it with Becca was cool in that we got to enthuse about it together and such, I should have made a seperate order on my own. By the time I paid for half the shipping from Minoru to her, and then the shipping from her to me, it was probably a bit more expensive than if I'd ordered direct. Ah well, live and learn. It was fun anyway.

My girl!

Can't wait til she arrives. It'll be sometime next week, I devoutly hope. USPS/Canada Post, don't fail me now.
