1) She is frikkin' TINY. I mean, 5 + 1/2 inches tall, I knew intellectually that was pretty small but in person, she is so very, very small. Her feet - her hands - her fingers are smaller than grains of uncooked rice, yet she has sculpted fingernails.
2) omifuckingod she is cute. Witness:
3) She has stolen my brain. I managed to get a little bit of writing done this AM, but other than a bit of fabric shopping, the afternoon has been a bust. Instead of working on my commissions, I made a photostory. Instead of editing another chapter of the book, I tried various clothes on her. I am mildly ashamed, but there you go. I always was a complete sucker for miniatures.
Validation of my doll-collecting peers aside, I feel, well, ridiculous for being so happy over a doll at the age of 29. I mean, seriously. At least I'm not male, or the social stigma would be ten times worse.

Of course she is cute. Of course she vacuums up time. Of course you are a little stunned by her. Of course you are already planning more. These are signs of the BJD addiction. You have been bitten. You will not be cured. Resistance is futile. You will get MORE DOLLS!
