I have finally decided on a Pocket Fairy. Yes, no more agonizing for me, although there might be some agony on the poor little thing's part when it arrives - I'm ordering a Choco, which is a boy doll, and transgenderizing the wee thing into a girl. Tiny resin winkie, meet Mr. Nailfile.

I love Pocket Fairies, but the options for girls are none of them exactly what I want. Chou is too happy, Yoko too sad and MiniMay, in the end, too confused. Choco has a lovely little half-smile that can look like pretty much whatever expression you want, given the proper camera angle. So he's got an appointment with sandpaper when he arrives, and will emerge out the other side with a new outlook on life.

Emmaline, Emmy for short. I think. Or Charlotte, Charlie for short, although there's probably going to be enough gender confusion in the poor thing's life without an androgenous nickname to further muddy the waters.
