{life] Things I hope

Among the many things that I hope is this: that when I have kids I can manage to avoid the goopy momminess that dictates that you insist that the rest of the world acknowledge your child's inherent superiority over every other child. I will of course believe this, but I hope that I don't fall under the delusion that everyone else must as well. I rather hope that I become a mother like Mimi Smartypants, who obviously loves her child but still retains her sense of proportion.
