I'm hard at work, putting together a collection for the launch of my Unoa clothing line. As you can see from the previous sentence, I have the weird urge to be unbearable pretentious about it. Not entirely sure why, except that it appeals to my sense of play.

It certainly doesn't suit the actual clothes that I'm making, which are more like the casual, attractive stuff that a better-financed university student might wear. Clothes that I might wear, if I could find or afford them. Example: bootcut jeans with a cowly turtleneck and a mid-calf trenchcoat. I'm still working on the jeans and trench patterns, but the sweater is a go.

I'm more excited about this than I was when I launched Brennil's Threads. This project is really going to stretch my skills to the limit and force me to grow as a designer and a seamstress, whereas BT has allowed me to stay in my comfort zone. I like a challenge, despite being scared.

Also, I came up with the most awesome name for the line...

...which I'm not going to reveal. Stay tuned!
