[dollie] More, more, more!
I've decided on my next doll. Slightly more money than the Pocket Fairy, but quite a bit larger - Unoas are 40 cms tall. The one I want is Lusis, although I have to say that if I can make enough money in the next 6 months in my sewing, I'll be getting Sist too.
Pretty pictures of Unoas.

Of course, I had to pick one of the most difficult to get dolls. You can buy them in the secondary market (Ebay and Yahoo!Japan) fairly regularly, but at crazy inflated prices - more than 2-3 times what they originally cost. This is because they are only available once or twice a year as a pre-order, and the maker does not ship internationally - you have to go through a shopping agent such as Crescent Shop to get one. So people who run this labyrinth can get quite a bit from those unwilling to wait.
That's alright - I'm a patient person, and it'll take me some time to save up anyway. Someday they will be mine. They are so lovely...

Good choice, Karla! Preorder is the only way to pay a reasonable price for these beauties, its even worth buying both just to resell one on the secondary market. The last preorder I think will start shipping in May or June, and you might find some people have had a change of hearts (or bought extras) but unless they are selling at a fair price, not taking offers and letting them skyrocket — although this does mean delivery will be faster — I'd say wait for the next preorder, that way yuo will have several months to prepare and sew those gorgeous outfits so there is no need for naked arrivals.

I wouldn't expect anyone who did the preorder to sell at the same price they bought - I wouldn't do so, after all, that's just the rules of the game. I'm content to wait. Although I'm crappy at sewing from measurements...I'll wait til she gets here to sewing for her. :)

Oh yes! Impatience is the key in the Unoa game! There should be another preorder near end of the year... I hope I will get mine soon :D
