[life] Morning Thoughts
There are several blogs/livejournals that I read on a regular basis, because the people who run them are interesting and fun and I wish that we could hang out over coffee. Ursula Vernon has this undefeatable joyous outlook on life. She sees the fun in just about everything, and even when she gets mad, she retains the knowledge that we're all just human, that this too shall pass, and that even botfly infections can be the inspiration for wonderful, humorous art. Did I mention she's a kickass artist? I own several of her prints and one day - oh yes, that day shall come - I'm going to own an original.
Mimi Smartypants makes me laugh. Consistently. I value that a lot since sometimes I take things too seriously.
Blastmilk. Possibly my favorite name for a blog, ever. Kallisti makes pretty dollie clothes, is happily married, and suffers from a range of neuroses that I am highly sympathetic to. She weilds a mean camera, too.
Who knew that Wil Wheaton would grow up so cool? His book rocks, buy it and read it.
I read Neil Gaiman's page cuz, duh, he's Neil Gaiman.
I was going to say something about the false sense of intimacy that you get from reading someone's blog over a long period of time, but my brain shorted out. Maybe later.
